wonderful weekend

this past weekend i had the joy of spending time with my college roommates. it was completely God's timing that brought it all together, cause so many factors went into planning this short trip on such short notice. but it all came together and it was wonderful. all three of my roommates have little boys, ranging from 6 months to 13 months old. it was so much fun to spend time with them and see how they've blossomed into mothers and also get a glimpse into what my life will look like in just a few short months. it was also the only time any of us has been really pregnant around the others, so it was special for me to share the joy of our pregnancy with them. i am really excited for this little boy to join us, and it is so hard to wait! he has been moving around so much more and chris and i have both felt him move. he didn't waste any time with fluttering and small movements--he's been punching and kicking for several weeks now and the intensity is growing. i can only imagine how bruised my insides will be by the time he's ready to join us on the outside. for now, i'm loving it. it's the most incredible feeling. i love him so much, more than i ever thought i could.
